The idea behind the Womb Chair was to create a chair with a superior level of comfort that was not purely determined by its cushions, but also by the shape of its shell. Crafted from reinforced fibreglass, the shell of the Womb Chair is designed in order that the user can sprawl across it in a number of different positions, but still remain perfectly comfortable no matter how they sit. Like the womb after which the chair is named, it envelopes the user in a cosy and relaxed environment - and foam filled seat and back cushions serve to magnify the level of comfort that the Womb Chair offers. It is the perfect place to curl up and read, sit upright or relax for an afternoon nap.

Available in a range of different colours, the Womb Chair is complemented by a matching footstool, which also features a foam cushion supported by a beautifully moulded platform.
